Coniuncta is an interdisciplinary journal, drawing from fields as disparate as environmental science to business ethics in order to create a community of scholars and introduce students to critical topics outside of their specialty. Submissions may be course assignments or independent research. Submissions will only be considered by current University of Virginia undergraduates, or those that have graduated in the previous academic year.
Articles do not have a length requirement, but we encourage submissions to be long enough to explore their topic and discuss the research yet short enough to be digestible. Most successful submissions will be between 1,000 and 3,000 words.
Articles should be well constructed and proofread prior to submission. We ask that submissions include enough information so readers outside of the field will enjoy your article. Please provide a brief author biography and concise abstract of your research with your article submission. Please note that outside reviewers, including students and staff, will be consulted to uphold Coniuncta‘s commitment to scholarly value.
